Part 1- Do a Script analysis of the FIRST 30 pages of the second act or until the midpoint of your second act. (All films are not 120 minutes; thus some of your films are a 100 minutes and may have a first act of 25 minutes; second act of 50 minutes thus the midpoint of the second act would take place at 50 minutes and finally it could have a thrid act of 25 minutes). This is an analysis is of the film you have chosen as your favorite film for the purposes of this class.

Identify where the midpoint of ACT 2 is. This is a major obstacle that the character or characters will encounter and it will change the direction of the film.

NOW YOU WILL ANALYZE PAGES 60-120 ( You will be specific to the length of your chosen film). YOU WILL NOW ANALYZE THE STRUCTURE OF THE REST OF THE YOUR CHOSEN FAVORITE FILM. THIS INCLUDES THE 3RD ACT ANALYSIS OF YOUR CHOSEN FILM.
