write a memo (not including tables or charts) discussing the challenges and opportunities that ITS creates. Memo should be at a minimum 2pg long, single spacing.
There is no fixed format for this memo. We recognize that we are at the beginning, not the end, of 485-0, and that your understanding of ITS issues will build during the subject.
- Prepare several slides on the topic to discuss in front of the class. Each of you will have about 15 minutes to present the application and answer questions.
Your paper should draw upon references in ITS literature, your own understanding of transportation and ITS, and should conclude with a recommendation about an ITS strategy.
