Start Excel. Download and open the file named Student_Excel_01_SR_Inventory_AS.xlsx. Save the file as Last_First_Excel_01_SR_Inventory_AS.

Select the range A1:H1 and then merge and center the text.

Apply the Heading 3 cell style to the range A2:H2 and then apply Bold and Center to the range A19:D19.

Adjust the widths of columns A:B to 20

Enter a formula in cell F3 that adds the values in cells D3 and E3 to calculate the total number of grills in inventory.

Enter a formula in cell G3 that multiples the values in cells C3 and F3 to calculate the total inventory value for grills.

Enter a formula in H3 that divides cell D3 by cell F3 to find the percent of grills located in inventory at East Valley.

AutoFill the formulas in F3:H3 down through row 14.

In cells D15:G15, enter functions that sum each column.

Format the range D3:F15 as Comma [0] cell style.

Format the range C3:C14, and the cells G3 and G15 with the Currency [0] cell style. Format G4:G14 with the Comma [0] cell style.

Format the range H3:H14 with the Percent Style and one decimal place displayed.

Format the range D15:G15 using the Total cell style.

Enter the formula in cell C20 that subtracts the value in cell B20 from cell F3 to calculate the grills in inventory minus those on layaway. AutoFill the formula down through cell C31.

In D20 enter .001 and in D21 enter .002. AutoFill the range D20:21 down through D31 to fill the series of layaway fees. Apply the Percent Style with 1 decimal place to D20:D31.

Rename the Sheet1 tab as Inventory.

Add the file name in the worksheet’s left footer. Return to Normal view.

Use the Spelling and Grammar dialog box to correct any spelling errors.

Save and close Last_First_Excel_01_SR_Inventory_AS.xlsx. Exit Excel.
